Cashmere and wool, handwoven in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on a traditional hand loom that takes over a month to complete a single throw. Reversible, with two faces and two colours, regal red on one side and sky blue on the other. The animal motifs are woven into the cloth itself, not printed on top, the mark of a weaver working from memory.

A collector's piece as much as a furnishing. Folded over the end of a bed or the arm of a chair, it holds the room. Woven in limited numbers, available while stock lasts.

Product Story

The animal motifs on this throw are drawn from Rajasthan's textile heritage, where jungle scenes have appeared on royal textiles for centuries. The design is woven into the structure of the fabric itself, which means the pattern is part of the cloth rather than sitting on top of it. Flip the throw over and the colours reverse. Red becomes blue, blue becomes red, and the animals stay. The cashmere gives it softness and warmth. The wool gives it structure and durability. Together they produce a throw that is warm enough for a British winter and light enough to use in every other season.
