A masala dabba is a traditional Indian spice box: a round container holding seven small bowls under one lid, keeping everyday spices together and within reach. Vaarsa London's is handcrafted in solid brass in Moradabad, India.
What is kansa?
Kansa is an ancient Indian bell-metal, an alloy of copper and tin also known as bronze. It is valued in Ayurveda for wellness tools and dining ware. Vaarsa London makes kansa tumblers, gua sha, facial wands and plates.
What is Makrana marble?
Makrana marble is a fine white marble quarried in Makrana, Rajasthan — the same stone used to build the Taj Mahal. Vaarsa London uses it for coasters, dishes, diyas and flower plates.
Are Vaarsa London products handmade?
Yes. Every Vaarsa London piece is handcrafted in small batches by artisan communities across India — never mass-produced.
Where are Vaarsa London products made?
Our pieces are made by 15 artisan clusters across six Indian states, including Maharashtra and Moradabad (kansa), Moradabad (brass), Agra (marble), Dehradun (candles and textiles), Nagaland (teak), West Bengal and Saharanpur (wood), and Rajasthan and Jaipur (cashmere and block-print textiles).

What is your return policy?
Because our pieces are handcrafted, small variations are by design, not flaws, and all sales are final. If you'd still like to request a return or exchange, email hello@vaarsalondon.com within 7 days of receiving your order and we'll review it on a case-by-case basis. Any approved return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

Do you offer gift wrapping and gifting?

Is brass safe for food?
Yes, Vaarsa London's brass kitchenware is food-safe. Brass is naturally antimicrobial — hand wash it and dry it immediately to keep it at its best.
How do I clean and care for brass?
Hand wash brass with mild soap and a soft sponge, then dry immediately. For shine, apply Pitambri powder in gentle circular motions and rinse. Avoid dishwashers and abrasive scrubbers. Each order includes care guidance for its specific material.
