Perfect for a steaming cuppa with friends or a unique way to decorate your home, these cutting chai glasses bring a playful twist to tradition with their Warli-inspired design handpainted on the stand. Pairs well with our serving platter or teak wood serving boards

Product Story

Inspired by the vibrant streets of India where the aroma of freshly brewed chai fills the air, this set celebrates the iconic cutting chai culture—a perfect half-glass of strong, flavorful tea served in humble yet iconic glasses. Each piece is a nod to the simplicity and charm of those street-side tea stalls, where life’s best conversations brew.

What makes this set truly special is the intricate Warli art, an ancient tribal painting style from Maharashtra. Traditionally created on mud walls using rice paste, Warli art uses geometric patterns to tell stories of daily life, community, and nature. These timeless motifs are now reimagined and hand-painted on various homewares, to honor traditional craftsmanship and blend it with modern functionality.
