Product Story

There is no template. No guide printed on the cloth. The artisan works from memory, placing each stitch where she decides it belongs. The flowers, the colours, the spacing are all hers. That is why no two of these cushion covers look exactly the same.

The Kusuma collection is named for our founder Urvi's mother, whose name means flowers in Hindi. Hand embroidery is where this story begins. It was the first craft Urvi's mother taught her, guiding small hands to stitch flowers onto a kitchen apron that went on to win a school art competition. That memory became the reason Vaarsa exists. This cushion is the full circle.
