Brass Jar - Small with Spoon and Gift Box
Couldn't load pickup availability
A small solid brass jar with its own brass spoon, boxed and ready to give. It began life as a ghee pot, the piece we made for Maunika Gowardhan's cookbook launch celebrating regional Indian cuisine. Ghee is one use. It is really a keeper for anything worth keeping close.
Fill it with ghee, honey, salt, sugar, chutney, spices or dry fruit. Keep it on the table, beside the hob, or on a dressing table for small things. Brass is a naturally antimicrobial copper alloy, and it darkens beautifully with use.
Comes with a pure brass spoon in ready-to-gift packaging, which may vary from the images (image updating soon)

Brass Care
Keeping your food grade brass pieces from Vaarsa London is easier than you think. Simple steps you can use:
📌Start by gently emptying the piece and hand-washing the residue.
📌Then, for the deep clean mix Pitambri powder with a little water to make a thick paste. Apply it on the brass in gentle circular motions. Let it sit for a minute then rub again, especially over tarnished spots. It’s normal if the paste darkens, that means it’s working.
📌Rinse thoroughly with water and dry completely using a soft microfibre cloth before you use it again.
And that’s it. Your brass, cleaned, cared for, and glowing like new.
